  • What to Expect During Your Visit
    Since 1870, the Parsons church of Christ (Parsons, Kansas) has been a congregation of people who have been drawn together by our common faith and salvation in Jesus Christ(2 Pet. 1:1; Jude 1:3), for the purpose of worship, service and fellowship (Acts 2:41-42).Our objective, both individually and collectively, has always been to grow more and more in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 3:18).

  • At Parsons church of Christ, our visitors are our honored guests, and it is from a sincere and joyful heart that we invite you to join us this Sunday to come worship our Lord in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23).

We are Sound in Doctrine & Worship

For nearly 150 years, the Parsons church of Christ has maintained the practice of authorized New Testament worship, including the singing of Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:18-20; Colossians 3:16), prayer (1 Timothy 2:1-3), weekly communion and contribution (Luke 22:15-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Cor. 9:7), preaching (2 Timothy 4:1-2), and an invitation for all in attendance to obey the Gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ, to be saved and added by the Lord to His church (Hebrews 5:9-10; Acts 2:37-41).

We are An Active & Growing Congregation

The Parsons church of Christ desires to meet the needs of our own members, our community, and others throughout the world (Galatians 6:9-10).  We presently support the Hope Harbor Children's Home (Claremore, Oklahoma) and the Betikara Orphanage (Madagascar) (James 1:27). As the church, we meet throughout the week for Bible study (2 Timothy 2:15), worship (Acts 20:7), fellowship & encouragement (Hebrews 3:13; Hebrews 10:24-25).
